I almost forgot to write. It’s been a lazy, restorative Saturday filled with much napping and much hanging around. It was needed across the board.
The kids discovered a new show that has a tile set up like Laugh-In but the characters are from history. We learned about Shakespeare, King Tut, and Lewis and Clark all together. God bless Sacagawea for putting up with Lewis and Clark and their incompetence and whining. The kids learned about Einstein, Joan of Ark, and pirates before we joined them. Pro tip: If you wanna make yourself feel better about your kids watching tv all day – let them watch Who Was? on Netflix. It even has Ellie Kemper pre-The Office days.
