Jack crossed over to the Boy Scouts today from the Cub Scouts. I’m not going to cry. I’m not going to cry. I’m not going to cry. Ok, maybe I’m gonna cry a little. He was a little nervous but the new troop leader and boys that came from the troop were so kind. They put him right at ease.

The kids haven’t really worn hard pants in ages and definitely not their scouting pants; so when they put them on today everyone’s reproductive health was in peril. It was a last minute scramble to find pants for everyone and some of the children had strong feelings about being seen in public in high waters. I should feel worse but it builds character. I’ll straighten it out before the next event.
